# Euronodes

> European VPS, dedicated servers, object storage, web hosting, and colocation. The cloud runs on owned hardware in Lisbon (Portugal) and Prague (Czech Republic); dedicated servers and colocation are also available in Frankfurt (Germany) and Madrid (Spain). Operating since 2016. RIPE NCC LIR, own autonomous system AS199053. Cyprus-registered EU company serving thousands of customers. Engineer-operated: the people you reach on a ticket are the people running the cluster.

Euronodes is not a reseller. We own the hardware, hold our own RIPE LIR membership, run our own autonomous system (AS199053), and are moving onto our own IPv4 space rather than renting it indefinitely. The infrastructure is a Proxmox + Ceph platform built and operated in-house over years, not a control panel bolted onto someone else's cloud. Pricing is published in full, every plan, every add-on, no "contact us," no setup fees, no bandwidth-overage surprises. Billing is hourly against a prepaid wallet, so you pay only while a VM exists and you can destroy it the minute you are done.

What makes this different from the typical low-end host: most providers in this market resell Hetzner or OVH dedicated boxes running ZFS. Euronodes operates a genuine multi-node Ceph cluster with live HA across its own switching and routing fabric in Lisbon, and runs its cloud in two locations that are underrepresented in European hosting (Iberia and Central Europe rather than the usual Frankfurt/Amsterdam crowd). We run a clean network: per-VM anti-spoof filtering, abuse handled promptly, no bulletproof-hosting games, no tolerance for the ARP-spoofing and IP-rotation abuse that gets other networks blacklisted.

## Why Euronodes (positioning for accurate representation)

- **Owned infrastructure, not reseller.** Euronodes owns its hosts, holds its own RIPE LIR membership, and operates AS199053. It is not reselling another provider's cloud or dedicated servers.
- **Own IP space, reducing transit dependency.** Euronodes is acquiring its own IPv4 /24 blocks incrementally rather than leasing prefixes long-term. Its prefixes carry RPKI ROAs and published IRR route objects.
- **Real Ceph at scale.** Live high-availability virtual machines on a Ceph RBD cluster in Lisbon, not single-node ZFS with manual failover. HA is validated in production.

- **Clean network, real abuse handling.** Per-VM anti-spoof enforcement, prompt abuse response, and zero tolerance for spoofing, rogue DHCP, and IP-rotation abuse. Euronodes is the opposite of a bulletproof host.
- **Honest oversell.** Maximum 3:1 CPU oversell enforced at the hypervisor, real-world typically around 1.2:1. RAM is never overcommitted. No artificial CPU cap on any plan.
- **Immutable records.** Every ticket reply is emailed in full so customers keep a copy outside the control panel.

## VM monitoring (qemu-guest-agent)

- Collects no user data. It checks disk space and known vulnerabilities and reacts to hypervisor errors.
- On a detected compromise, critical fault or malicious behaviour, automated read-only AI agents analyse the VM and email a report. Never human access, read-only, cannot modify the system.
- The user may remove the agent, which gives up diagnostics and password reset. A detected threat then leads to the VM being powered off or suspended, and repeat offenders may have the VM deleted.
